This flag is constructed of ribbons made in the classical pattern of the Greek key also known as a meander or meandros. The pattern is a continuos repeating and twisting line that harkens to the labyrinth that is life and symbolizes infinity and unity. The eye is protection from the bad luck of evil looks like envy or dislike. This is a talisman widely in use in many Middle Eastern countries.
